The
founders of OVO USA came to Henninge because of our experience designing
winter-sports equipment. A new company, OVO wanted to develop a ski helmet
that would become their flagship product. They needed a design that met
all of the important safety requirements for helmets while simultaneously
achieving several additional objectives as well. The new design had to be
well ventilated and yet keep skiers warm where other helmets failed to do
so. It had to be as comfortable as an old hat and yet bound securely to
the skull for maximum protection. And all this had to occur along the bell
curve of large and small head sizes. In addition, the helmet had to look
just rightafter all, the helmet isn't merely protective gear, it's
an overt statement of fashion, performance, and personal style. |
