Henninge is the sole inventor for this product's unique, patented construction.
The product is outselling Avmor's initial projections. The construction
allows the product to be sold for a competitive price. The cost of goods
at the completion of the project was exactly on target. In addition, because
the blow-molded design is so innovative, further cost can be engineered
out of the product in the future with no changes to the current tooling.
The clean and welcoming visual appearance of the product constrasts with
the cold and sterile plastic box of other products. The product conveys
a safe feeling, a home away from home. The issues at play during this project
were very complex. Infant safety, regulatory requirements, and product cost
all fought for primary consideration. Envisioning the whole, while evaluating
specific requirements, is what we do best. |
